About Absinthe
Since childhood, we have been hearing about a drink called Absinthe, even read about it a lot. Our curiosity could not be fulfilled as it was banned but our peers regaled about the Green Goddess as they called Absinthe alcohol and we felt it was something like mythology.

Absinthe was prepared in a ceremonial, ritualistic way, while an absinthe spoon (of either brass or steel made, with inbuilt holes for water to drop) was held over an absinthe glass, having a broad base, for measurement, with a sugar cube on top of the absinthe spoon, while chilled water was gently poured over the sugar cube, melting it unto the bitter liquid of absinthe, forming a cloudy like forming in the glass. It is then drunk. However, we need not bother about such delicate preparation in our hectic days but can purchase a bottle of absinthe liquor anywhere, anytime, as it is back in the market for all.
